Welcome to the official Musical Spaces website. Musical Spaces is a project dedicated to Randy Purcell and Tim Eyermann, great jazz musicians and friends who sadly passed away in recent years. Randy and Tim had a profound influence on me as a professional musician and taught me much about jazz in general. It was always a pleasure to play gigs with these two cats and I will never forget the many performances at the Hyatt Dulles in the late 1980's and 1990's that featured their talents and drew in the crowds.
Musical Spaces is a very personal project in that it is the first time I have composed original material in a very long time. It features classical music (a true love of mine) as well as jazz and is reflective in nature. I hope you enjoy the musical offerings on the CD and would welcome your comments; good or bad.
